HIP Rules Change From April 6th 2009 

First day marketing changes from April 6th and it is no longer possible to place a property on the market without the HIP being in place. The minimum documents required to market the property are: Index, the New Property Information Questionnaire (PIQ), Sales Statement, Evidence of Title, Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) or a Predicted Energy Assessment (PEA). The main obstacle to first day marketing will be the need for new clients to complete the Property Information Questionnaire. We have access to Home Information Pack providers who are very competitive with prices from £230 inclusive of VAT and they are able to prepare the HIP within days.
